Each assessment item correlates with one lesson in the Rhoades to Reading Program. The instructor can easily identify which Common Core Standards to teach. By teaching the student only what he or she needs to learn, the student is placed on a fast track to success.

The Rhoades to Reading 2nd Edition program may be used with students of any age. Using the suggested activities included in the lessons and the instruction guide How To Use Rhoades to Reading 2nd Edition, the curriculum may be adjusted to meet each student's needs.

Regardless of the age or grade, the student must be placed at the appropriate instructional level.

Using previous assessment information you may have collected and/or informal observation, begin testing at the level you best believe the student is performing. you may test at an earlier level if the entry point you choose is too advanced OR move to a more advanced level if the student finds the assessment items easy to answer
